This is a website dedicated to the subject of shame and shaming. A few years ago, I began to notice something odd happening. I got the feeling that people were using shame more often than they did when I was a kid. I got the sense that more people were using it as a means of manipulating others into doing what they wanted and controlling what they could and couldn’t say. I also saw a lot of people conforming to things that they hadn’t in the past.
